Sourced from the iron-rich soils of 'Les Rugiens'—universally regarded as the finest Premier Cru vineyard in Pommard—this wine displays a dark ruby-garnet color. On the nose, it delivers concentrated aromas of dark cherries, crushed blackberries, licorice, game, dried flowers, and distinct earthy, iron-like minerality. The palate is full-bodied, structured, and muscular, balancing a rich core of dark fruit with dense, fine-grained tannins and vibrant, linear acidity, finishing with tremendous length and savory depth.
