About the Parcelica Chica Monastrell Syrah
A rich, expressive, and wonderfully sun-drenched Spanish red wine crafted by winemaker Antonio Candela in the high-altitude desert vineyards of Yecla. Sourced from dry-farmed vines digging deep into rocky, limestone-rich soils, this vegan-friendly blend of Monastrell and Syrah undergoes four months of careful aging in oak barrels. It reveals a deep, concentrated ruby hue and opens with a complex bouquet of ripe blackberries, black cherries, and sweet black olives, intricately woven with notes of black pepper, dark cocoa, violets, and subtle undergrowth on a full-bodied, velvety palate.
Food Pairing: This structured and beautifully juicy red wine pairs perfectly with slow-braised beef short ribs, grilled lamb skewers, rich stews, or a rustic charcuterie board with cured meats and aged cheeses.
