Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 23 Years Old Kentucky Bourbon

Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 Year is a 23-year-old wheated Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey produced in partnership with the Van Winkle family and Buffalo Trace Distillery. Barrels are matured for 23 years and selected from the heart of the warehouse. It is bottled at 47.8% ABV (95.6 proof).

Food Pairing: Dark chocolate, roasted nuts, smoked meats, aged cheese, apple desserts and caramel-based desserts.

Tasting Notes: Caramel, ripe apple, cherry, seasoned oak, tobacco and chocolate.

Nose: Caramel, ripe fruit and mature oak with cherry and tobacco.

Palate: Rich caramel and fruit with pronounced aged oak, apple, cherry, tobacco and a hint of chocolate.

Finish: Long-lasting and sweet with lingering caramel and mature wood.

Serve: Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water.
