Paolo Conterno "A Mont" Langhe Nebbiolo is a beautifully expressive, entry-level red Burgundy alternative from the heart of Piedmont. Sourced from estate-owned, sustainably farmed vineyards in the Langhe hills (situated at an altitude of 300 to 350 meters on steep, clay-calcareous slopes), this wine serves as a brilliant showcase for the Nebbiolo grape’s natural freshness and aromatic charm.

To preserve the wine's vibrant, youthful character, fourth-generation winemaker Giorgio Conterno employs a short 7-to-8-day skin maceration for a soft extraction, followed by aging that completes without heavy wood influence. In the glass, it pours a bright garnet-red color. The nose is highly floral and lifted, offering pretty aromas of fresh red cherries, cranberries, and rose petals, complexed by subtle notes of dried orange peel, tobacco, and white pepper. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and exceptionally well-structured; its core of juicy, crunchy red fruit is supported by firm, lightly chewy tannins and a clean, mineral-driven line of natural acidity.
