Paddy Irish Whiskey 43%

Paddy Irish Whiskey 43% is a higher-proof expression of the famous triple-distilled Irish whiskey brand, originally produced by the Cork Distilleries Company and currently owned by Sazerac. Crafted using a traditional blend of grain whiskey, single malt, and single pot still whiskey, it undergoes triple distillation in copper pot stills and patient maturation in oak casks. Bottled at a robust 43% ABV—stepping up from the standard 40% release—this expression offers enhanced flavor intensity, showcasing crisp orchard fruit, honeyed cereal, gentle vanilla, and signature Irish pot still spice.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with fish and chips, Irish soda bread with salted butter, roasted pork chops, sharp cheddar, or dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: A well-balanced, vibrant Irish whiskey presenting crisp apple, honeyed grain, warm vanilla, and subtle pot still spice with an amplified full-bodied feel.

Nose: Fresh green apple, pear, honeyed malt, vanilla bean, floral accents, and light oak spice.

Palate: Smooth and lively with notes of buttered toast, sweet malt, orchard fruit, subtle pepper, and toasted wood.

Finish: Medium in length, clean and crisp with lingering hints of cereal sweetness, gentle spice, and dry oak.

Serve: Enjoy neat, over ice, with a splash of ginger ale and lime, or as a classic base in an Irish Coffee.
