About the Paddy's Irish Whiskey
Paddy Irish Whiskey is a famous triple-distilled Irish blend with roots dating back to 1779, originally named after the legendary salesman Paddy Flaherty. Crafted in County Cork, Ireland, this classic expression combines three styles of Irish whiskey: grain whiskey for sweetness, single malt for fruitiness, and single pot still for signature spice. Matured in oak barrels and bottled at a standard 40% ABV, it delivers an approachable, light, and crisp profile marked by notes of honeyed cereal, vanilla wafer, green orchard fruit, and soft wood spice.
Food Pairing: Pairs well with sharp Dubliner cheddar cheese, fish and chips, shepherd's pie, soda bread with salted butter, or light citrus desserts.
Tasting Notes: A crisp and approachable Irish whiskey featuring notes of honeyed malt, vanilla, fresh orchard fruit, and gentle toasted oak spice.
Nose: Malty and fresh with aromas of sweet honey, vanilla wafers, green apple, and light cedar.
Palate: Light and crisp on the palate with flavours of buttered toast, toasted cereal grain, soft nuts, and mild pot still spice.
Finish: Gently fading with lingering notes of sweet malt, mild vanilla, and delicate oak woodiness.
Serve: Enjoy neat, on the rocks, mixed with ginger ale and lime, or as a classic base in an Irish Coffee.
