About the Osoyoos Larose Le Grand Vin Red Blend 2020 750ml
A flagship estate of the Canadian wine scene, Osoyoos Larose is a single-block vineyard overlooking the magnificent Osoyoos Lake. This jewel of the classic Bordeaux grape varieties has the substance and aromatic definition of the wines of this famous French region. Perfect with a 5-star meal featuring either beef tenderloin or a steak of venison.
Merlot dominant, with plush black cherries, and blackberries, on a velvet palate, structured via the Cabernets, and raging with chewy tannins. The fruit is very ripe and dense, with ample impact and intensity at this youthful stage, and will reward with time in the cellar. Le Grand Vin has certainly grown into its name, and is perennially one of BC's top reds!
