Sourced from the estate's high-elevation vineyards in Howell Mountain and Mount Veeder, blended with fruit from their valley floor site in Oakville, this vintage balances mountain concentration with seamless elegance. In the glass, it shows an opaque purple-ruby color and opens with expressive aromas of ripe cassis, black cherries, wild blackberries, plum, cedar, and crushed gravel. On the palate, it is dense, concentrated, and layered, offering rich dark fruit flavors, subtle notes of cocoa and tobacco, integrated natural acidity, and firm, polished tannins that carry through to a long, mineral-driven finish.
