Ornus dell'Ornellaia 2020 375Ml

Crafted in the famed Bolgheri region along the sun-drenched Tuscan coast of Italy, Ornus dell'Ornellaia 2020 is a rare, highly exclusive late-harvest dessert wine produced by the world-renowned Ornellaia estate. Named after the Fraxinus Ornus (Manna Ash tree) native to the estate’s surrounding hillsides, this sweet, opulent cuvée is crafted entirely from 100% Petit Manseng. Sourced from a specialized single plot planted on maritime clay and sandy soils, the grapes are left on the vine to undergo late-harvest drying and noble rot (Botrytis cinerea) under optimal autumn conditions. Hand-harvested in successive passes (triés) to pick only the most concentrated clusters, the juice is gently pressed and fermented in 100% new French oak barriques, where it ages for 12 months before bottling.

Food Pairing: Pan-seared foie gras, Gorgonzola Dolce, Roquefort, aged Tuscan Pecorino, fruit tarts, lemon meringue pie, almond biscotti, or enjoyed as a standalone dessert wine.
