Old Pulteney Pineau Des Charentes

Part of what Old Pulteney calls The Coastal Series, this whisky started its life in American Oak casks before a period of finishing in ex-Pineau des Charantes casks. Pineau des Charantes is a fortified wine made by blending Cognac with fresh grape juice or lightly fermented grape must. 

The Old Pulteney Pineau des Charantes is bottled at 46%.

Old Pulteney Pineau des Charentes is created by maturing our spirit by the Caithness Coast in American oak casks, then transferring them to ex-Pineau des Charentes casks, handcrafted using French oak. The result is a sweet, rich single malt that celebrates a shared coastal connection – bursting with flavours of dried fruits and a subtle saltiness that’s shaped by the sea."
