Old Grand Dad 7 Year Old Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon

Old Grand Dad 7 Year Old Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon is a highly anticipated, limited annual release that elevates the beloved high-rye Kentucky straight bourbon with a 7-year age statement. Produced by the James B. Beam Distilling Co. and adhering to the strict requirements of the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act, this expression takes the brand's signature spicy, nutty character and softens the edges through extended oak maturation, resulting in a more robust, deeply rounded, and complex profile than its standard non-age-stated counterpart.

Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, aged cheddar cheese, pecan pie, or caramel popcorn.

Tasting Notes : Deep copper to dark amber in appearance with a smooth, slightly creamy, and medium-bodied mouthfeel.

Nose : Classic high-rye bourbon aromatics featuring sweet caramel, toasted oak, and vanilla, accented by peanut brittle, citrus peel, saltwater taffy, and a hint of mint.

Palate : Rich and warming, opening with brown sugar and vanilla, followed closely by a robust wave of cinnamon, baking spices, nutty undertones, and a touch of sweet cedar wood and orange zest.

Finish : Long, balanced, and pleasantly warming, leaving lingering notes of baking spice, sweet oak, caramel apple, and a signature rye pepper heat.

Serve : Serve neat in a Glencairn glass to appreciate the age and proof, or poured over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
