Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Kentucky Straight Bourbon

A massive fan-favorite and one of the most highly regarded releases in the Old Forester Whiskey Row series! During Prohibition, Old Forester was one of only six distilleries granted a federal permit to continue producing whiskey for "medicinal purposes." Old Forester 1920 is a 115-proof powerhouse crafted to replicate the intensely rich, robust, and heavy-hitting profile of that historic Prohibition-era bourbon. It delivers a thick, dark, and syrupy tasting experience that stands up brilliantly to dilution, making it a dream pour for serious bourbon lovers.

NOSE

Intense and deeply aromatic. Heavy layers of dark chocolate, rich cherry preserve, toasted graham cracker, and seasoned oak.

PALATE

Thick, heavy, and full-bodied. A rush of dark caramel and rich vanilla bean is beautifully balanced by a bold, warming wave of cinnamon and peppery spice.

FINISH

Exceptionally long, warm, and chest-coating, leaving a lasting trail of dark fruit, spiced oak, and sweet tobacco.
