Unlike the 100-proof single barrels, this "Barrel Strength" version is bottled unfiltered and straight from the cask. Maturation occurs in heat-cycled warehouses, which accelerates the interaction between the spirit and the wood, resulting in a profile that often tastes significantly more mature than its age suggests.
