The mature bourbon waiting to be bottled was temporarily stored in a secondary barrel. Today, this expression replicates that accidental double-barreling by entering a secondary, heavily charred oak barrel at 100 proof, creating a deeply sweet, rich, and oak-forward profile with exceptional warmth and complexity.
