About the Okunomatsu Hiya Oroshi
Rich and rounded, with mature rice character, gentle sweetness and deep savoury umami developed through summer aging. The palate is full and mellow yet balanced, with restrained fruit and a smooth texture leading into a clean, satisfying finish.
Food Pairing: Grilled meats, mushrooms, shellfish, roasted vegetables, yakitori, hot pot and other rich, savoury autumn dishes.
