Nueveuno Reposado Tequila Artesanal

Crafted in El Arenal, located in the Tequila Valley (Lowlands) of Jalisco, Mexico, Nueveuno (91) Reposado is a certified organic, additive-free artisanal tequila produced at the renowned Tequila Cascahuín distillery (NOM 1123). Born from a commitment to traditional craft, sustainability, and honoring frontline emergency responders, Nueveuno combines organic farming with time-honored distillation practices. Made from 100% estate-grown organic Blue Weber agave (Agave tequilana), the mature piñas are slow-cooked in traditional stone masonry brick ovens (mampostería), crushed using a mechanical roller mill, and fermented in open stainless steel tanks with natural airborne yeasts. Double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills, the spirit is rested for 6 to 8 months in American oak bourbon barrels. This deliberate barrel aging softens the bold lowland agave profile, adding subtle layers of vanilla, toasted oak, honey, and warm baking spices while preserving a deep, mineral-rich core of cooked agave.

Food Pairing: Grilled pork tenderloin, roasted chicken mole, tacos al pastor, aged Gouda or Manchego cheese, roasted squash, or dark chocolate with orange peel.

Tasting Notes: Bright straw-gold in appearance with amber highlights, brilliant clarity, a silky medium-to-full body, and slow, coating tears.

Finish: Medium-long, warm, and smooth with lingering notes of sweet agave, subtle oak spice, zesty orange pith, and a dry, mineral-driven warmth.
