Nueveuno Reposado Deep Tequila

Crafted in El Arenal, located in the Tequila Valley (Lowlands) of Jalisco, Mexico, Nueveuno (91) Reposado is a certified organic, additive-free artisanal tequila produced at the renowned Tequila Cascahuín distillery (NOM 1123). Born from a commitment to traditional craft, sustainability, and honoring frontline emergency responders, Nueveuno combines organic farming with time-honored distillation practices. Made from 100% estate-grown organic Blue Weber agave (Agave tequilana), the mature piñas are slow-cooked in traditional stone masonry brick ovens (mampostería), crushed using a mechanical roller mill, and fermented in open stainless steel tanks with natural airborne yeasts. Double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills, the spirit is rested for 6 to 8 months in American oak bourbon barrels. This deliberate barrel aging softens the bold lowland agave profile, adding subtle layers of vanilla, toasted oak, honey, and warm baking spices while preserving a deep, mineral-rich core of cooked agave.

Food Pairing: Grilled pork tenderloin, roasted chicken mole, tacos al pastor, aged Gouda or Manchego cheese, roasted squash, or dark chocolate with orange peel.

Tasting Notes: Bright straw-gold in appearance with amber highlights, brilliant clarity, a silky medium-to-full body, and slow, coating tears.

Nose: Elegant and warm, opening with sweet cooked agave, subtle vanilla bean, and light toasted oak, accompanied by orange blossom honey, black pepper, cinnamon, and a touch of damp volcanic earth.

Palate: Smooth, round, and rich on the palate, featuring caramelized agave nectar, butterscotch, and sweet vanilla upfront before unfolding into soft oak tannins, cracked white pepper, light herbal tea, and subtle hazelnut notes.

Finish: Medium-long, warm, and smooth with lingering notes of sweet agave, subtle oak spice, zesty orange pith, and a dry, mineral-driven warmth.

Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature in a Riedel Tequila glass or Glencairn glass to experience its complex, additive-free agave-oak harmony, or as an elevated base for artisanal craft cocktails like a Reposado Old Fashioned or Mexican Mule.
