The Dubh Glas Distillery Noteworthy Gin Navy Strength 375ml

The Dubh Glas Distillery Noteworthy Gin Navy Strength is an intense, high-proof Canadian craft spirit produced in Oliver, British Columbia. Crafted with a 100% British Columbia malted barley base fermented in-house, this expression is distilled in custom German copper pot stills using an eclectic botanical blend featuring juniper, orange peel, coriander, and carnation flowers. Bottled at a robust 57% ABV, the higher alcohol content amplifies the aromatic oils, delivering a rich, concentrated botanical experience with an exceptionally smooth character despite its high proof.

Food Pairing: Rich charcuterie, spicy chorizo, strong blue cheese, grilled ribeye steak, and dark chocolate desserts.

Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with a full-bodied, rich, and warming mouthfeel.

Nose: Bold and intensely aromatic, opening with vibrant piney juniper and sweet citrus oils, accompanied by distinct floral carnation, cracked black pepper, and warm cereal notes from the barley base.

Palate: Powerful yet remarkably smooth, presenting a rich wave of resinous pine juniper and peppery coriander, followed by candied orange peel, spicy floral notes, and a deep malt backbone.

Finish: Exceptionally long, warm, and dry with lingering notes of crisp pine needle, warming pepper spice, and bright citrus zest.

Serve: Serve over a single large ice sphere with a twist of orange peel, dilute with a dash of chilled spring water to open the subtle floral notes, or use as a powerful base in a classic Last Word or Gimlet.
