The Bodega Norton Privada Malbec is a high-expression, single-varietal wine sourced exclusively from the estate's oldest vineyards in Luján de Cuyo, where vines range from 50 to 80 years old. Distinct from the "Family Blend," this bottling is a pure celebration of old-vine Malbec, offering a "powerhouse" profile with exceptional concentration and aging potential. The wine is typically matured for 16 months in new French oak barrels, followed by an additional year of bottle aging. This results in a complex, full-bodied red featuring intense aromas of violets, overripe blackberries, and blackcurrants, accented by mineral notes of graphite and sweet spices. On the palate, it is dense and chewy with firm, polished tannins and a long, savory finish.
