Niepoort Vintage 2022 Port 375ml

Niepoort Vintage Port is a fortified wine from Portugal's Douro region, produced only in selected vintages from traditional local grape varieties. It combines concentrated dark fruit, floral and spice character with freshness, firm tannins, and a structured profile designed for extensive development and maturation in bottle.

Food Pairing: Pairs best with Stilton, aged hard cheeses, dark chocolate desserts, or roasted walnuts.

99 Points - James Suckling

This has an intense nose of bramble fruit, together with dried fruit, very floral notes of violets, earth, peppercorn and a touch of graphite. It's full-bodied with remarkable concentration balanced by brilliant acidity and sophisticated tannins. Harmonious and exceptionally balanced, this is a mighty vintage from Niepoort.

97 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Niepoort's 2022 Vintage Port comes from very old vines in Cima Corgo, mostly around Pinhao. It is chewy and long, with abundant yet very refined tannins. Powerful and concentrated while retaining an ethereal quality, it combines power with lightness and finishes remarkably long and dry.

94 Points - Wine Spectator

Acai berry, blueberry and black cherry aromas and flavors are fresh and forthright, set against warm ganache, melted licorice and violet notes. The long finish carries a subtle, persistent graphite character.
