Nicolas Idiart Loire Valley Pinot Noir

Crafted from grapes grown in a single vineyard of 20- to 40-year-old vines near the village of Marigny-Brizay in Haut-Poitou, this wine is a fresh and pure expression of Loire Pinot Noir. It is characterized by aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, and kirsch with subtle hints of vanilla and spice. The palate is medium-bodied and balanced, featuring a silky texture and gentle tannins resulting from nine months of aging in concrete vats.

Mature red berry flavors of cherry, kirsch and raspberry mixed with vanilla and spices. Harmonious and balanced with a plump fruitiness and silky texture which are offset by round, gentle tannins. Medium body and an elegant structure.

Pair with Chicken Tarragon or Garlic Roast Beef Tenderloin.
