Nelson's Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey

The Original Tennessee Whiskey is history in a glass. After two brothers from Nashville, Tennessee discovered their triple great grandfather was one of the most successful whiskey distillers in pre-prohibition America, they vowed to revive the defunct family business. Based on the exact family recipe first dreamed up by Charles Nelson in the late 1800s, this wheated Tennessee Whiskey is mellowed through a bed of sugar maple charcoal and bottled at 91 proof… an ode to Charles Nelson who died in 1891.  Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey offers notes of brown sugar and vanilla and is best enjoyed any way you like it: neat, on the rocks or poured into your favorite cocktail.

Today, Nelson’s Green Brier distillery thrives in the heart of Nashville, operating under distillery spirits plant number 5 and becoming a must-visit destination for tours, whiskey tastings, dining and events.  The distillery also produces a line of premium bourbons and rye whiskey under the Nelson Brothers name in honor of founders Andy and Charlie Nelson.
