Murray McDavid Mission Gold Fettercairn 28 Year Old

Murray McDavid Mission Gold Fettercairn 28 Year Old is a limited-release Highland single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2024 at 51.2% ABV. Matured initially in bourbon hogsheads before finishing in first-fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry, Oloroso Sherry and wine casks, it offers a rich, complex profile of mature fruit, sweet oak and warming spice. Its extended maturation creates a layered, elegant whisky that balances the fruity character of Fettercairn with the influence of fortified wine and oak.

Food Pairing: Roasted duck, aged Gouda, toasted walnuts, dark chocolate, dried fruit, fruitcake or rich caramel desserts.
