Murray McDavid Blair Athol 8 Year Old

Murray McDavid Blair Athol 8 Year Old is a limited-release Highland single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2015 and bottled in spring 2024 at 52.1% ABV. Initially matured in bourbon hogsheads and finished in first-fill Tawny Port and Madeira wine casks, it offers a rich, fruit-forward profile of fresh berries, cherries, buttery malt and sweet nuts. Floral honey and peppery spice develop on the palate, leading into a smooth finish of milk chocolate and warming baking spices.

Food Pairing: Roasted pork, aged cheddar, toasted almonds, dark chocolate, cherry tart, fruitcake or spiced pastries.
