The black-cherry fruit is almost opulent, but the meat-extract and smoky aromas keep it from being dominant. A very powerful and weighty 2020, but with good acidity and licorice character on the full-bodied palate. Compact tannins at the emphatically dry finish. Difficult to say whether this will benefit from further aging. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
