Mt. Logan 15 Year Old Canadian Rye Whisky

Mt. Logan 15 Year Old Canadian Rye Whisky is a mature Canadian whisky produced by Highwood Distillers in Alberta. Aged for fifteen years and bottled at 40% ABV, it is made from corn distillate matured in charred American white oak, developing an exceptionally smooth and refined profile of butterscotch, vanilla, sweet corn, almond and finely integrated oak spice. 

Food Pairing: Pair with roast pork, grilled chicken, aged cheddar, roasted almonds, maple-glazed dishes or caramel and vanilla-based desserts.

Tasting Notes: Elegant and exceptionally smooth, with sweet corn, vanilla and butterscotch complemented by almond, cinnamon and delicate dry oak spice.

Nose: Soft corn sweetness with butterscotch and vanilla, followed by dry oak spice and subtle almond.

Palate: Smooth and lightly oily, with sweet corn, vanilla, butterscotch and almond accented by cinnamon and fine oak spice.

Finish: Smooth and medium in length, with lingering corn sweetness, marzipan-like nuttiness and warming oak spice.
