About the Moric Blaufränkisch Burgenland 2021 750ml
Made in an early-drinking style from 'younger' vines (10-50 years old) grown on limestone, primary rock, and loam from Neckenmarkt and Lutzmannsburg. Fermented in open vats and steel tank. A wonderful introduction to Roland's elegant take on Blaufrankisch with its signature characteristics of high-toned aromatic blue fruits, spice, and black tea. A wine that will drink now and age well for years to come.

Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, subtle rim brightening. Black forest berries, dark cherries, deliacte herbal savouriness, attractive bouquet. Tightly meshed, finely savoury and straightforward, red cherries, mineral and long lasting, very good freshness, chalky taut style, fine lime touch in the finish, a stimulating companion at the table.
