An exceptional, legendary Spanish red wine crafted by the historic Bodegas Riojanas, representing the pinnacle of traditional Rioja winemaking. Sourced entirely from 100% Tempranillo grown on old vines in the limestone-clay soils of Cenicero, this classic Gran Reserva is only produced in stellar vintages. Following a long maceration, it undergoes an extensive maturation period, aging for a minimum of 24 to 36 months in American oak casks followed by several years of refinement in the bottle. It displays an attractive, deep cherry-red color with bright tile-orange reflections, lifting with an intense, aristocratic bouquet of stewed plums, dried cherries, and liquorice, seamlessly layered with notes of vanilla, tobacco leaf, sweet spice, and roasted coffee beans on a remarkably silky, elegant, and finely structured palate.
