About the Mission Hill Family Estate Reserve Pinot Gris 2022 750ml
Critic tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Mission Hill is a model of consistency at the Reserve level. In 2022 the gris fruit is a mix sourced from the Black Sage Bench 71%, Naramata Bench 18%, and the Oliver region 11%. Over 60 blocks and multiple elevations contribute to the flavours and textures of this wine, along with 41 percent fermented in 36% French barrels, 3% French puncheons and 2% foudres (only nine percent is new). Lemons, yellow apples, peaches and honey all come together in a refreshing style that is ready to drink. Think vegetarian pizza, fish tacos, and pesto pasta. (Anthony Gismondi)." - Gismondi on Wine
