About the Miro Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah 2021
Miro Petite Sirah 2021 is a rich, robust, and deeply concentrated California red wine crafted by acclaimed winemaker Miro Tcholakov. Sourced primarily from mature vines in the prestigious Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, this wine showcases the incredible depth and power for which the varietal is known. In the glass, it displays an opaque, inky dark purple hue, opening with intense, high-toned aromas of ripe blueberries, fresh blackberries, and cherry pie, seamlessly interwoven with complex undertones of vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied and beautifully structured, delivering a dense, succulent core of dark bramble fruits and a whisper of black coffee. The naturally bold fruit expression is neatly framed by an energetic acidity and surprisingly soft, velvety tannins, culminating in a long, juicy, and highly satisfying finish.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with rosemary-infused grilled lamb chops, barbecue beef brisket, hearty wild boar ragù, and sharp, mature cheddar cheeses.
