The nose is complex and rich with a floral dominance. The aging notes, of rather integrated wood, remain underlying and contribute to the general intensity of this wine.
The power in the mouth remains quite impressive. As they sometimes say"this wine smells like stones" and that's really what's happening here: strong minerality, intense toasting which suits it perfectly and a citrus-mandarin finish top it all off.
