Messias Douro Vinha Santa Barbara

A highly sophisticated, small-production Portuguese red wine crafted by the historic Caves Messias from steep, schistose slopes in the Douro Valley. Blending classic Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, it undergoes an initial cold maceration and spontaneous fermentation before spending up to 24 months maturing in fine French oak barrels. It displays an intense, deep ruby hue, opening with a powerful and noble bouquet of ripe blackberries, wild blueberries, and dark plums, seamlessly enveloped by hints of rock rose, violet florals, dark cocoa, and flinty wet stone.
