Mercouri Estate Foloi Dry White

Crafted by the historic Mercouri Estate in the western Peloponnese region of Ilia, Greece, 'Foloi' takes its name from the nearby oak forest of Foloi, mythical realm of the centaurs. Built around Roditis—one of Greece’s most noble and aromatic indigenous white grape varieties—supplemented with a touch of Viognier, the grapes are sourced from mountain vineyards at an elevation of 350 to 400 meters. Benefiting from cool mountain winds and intense Mediterranean sunshine, the hand-picked fruit undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to emphasize pure fruit expression, bright natural freshness, and delicate herbal complexity.
