Meikle Toir The Turbo

Meikle Tòir The Turbo is a limited-edition, heavily peated Speyside single malt Scotch whisky crafted at The GlenAllachie Distillery. Matured for five years in a combination of American virgin oak casks and Oloroso Sherry hogsheads, creating an intense yet balanced expression of smoke and sweetness. Produced using a carefully selected spirit cut it reveals layers of toasted caramel, heather honey, smoked cedarwood and rich dark chocolate. Bottled at 50% ABV, it delivers a powerful, full-bodied whisky experience with warming spice and lingering smoky complexity.

Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, barbecued ribs, grilled lamb, aged cheddar, roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate truffles or sticky toffee pudding.

Tasting Notes: Intense peat smoke, heather honey, toasted caramel, smoked cedarwood, roasted hazelnuts, ginger, mocha, dark chocolate and plum jam.

Nose: Manuka honey, toasted caramel, smoked cedarwood, butterscotch, treacle and spiced orange peel.

Palate: Heather honey, roasted hazelnuts, warming baking spices, ginger, mocha and molasses, balanced by smouldering oak.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering peat smoke, dark chocolate, plum jam and toasted oak.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a Glencairn glass to appreciate its intense smoke and layered sweetness. Add a few drops of water to reveal additional honey, spice and chocolate notes.
