Murray McDavid North British 15 Year Old

Murray McDavid North British 15 Year Old is a distinctive Lowland single grain Scotch whisky distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2024 as part of the Select Grain collection. Initially matured in bourbon hogsheads, it underwent a combination of finishes in first-fill ex-Islay whisky, Tokaji wine and Oloroso Sherry casks. This unusual maturation brings together creamy vanilla sweetness, bright orchard fruit and a delicate smoky influence. Bottled at 49.5% ABV, this limited release offers a beautifully balanced profile of citrus, soft spice and gentle coastal smoke.

Food Pairing: Smoked salmon, grilled scallops, roasted almonds, honey-glazed pork, aged Gouda, apple tart or vanilla crème brûlée.
