Mastrojanni 'San Pio' 2021 is a rich, modern, yet deeply traditional Tuscan Super Tuscan red wine produced by the renowned Mastrojanni estate in Montalcino. Crafted from a blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, this wine undergoes fermentation in concrete and stainless steel tanks followed by 18 months of aging in French oak barrels. In the glass, it displays an intense ruby red color with purple highlights. The aromatic profile reveals ripe blackcurrant, dark plum, and red cherry fruit intermingled with nuances of Mediterranean herbs, sweet tobacco, dark chocolate, and graphite.
