About the Massican 'Annia' 2023
Massican 'Annia' 2023 is a light-bodied, vibrant, and beautifully textured Mediterranean-inspired white blend produced by winemaker Dan Petroski. Sourced from small vineyard plots across Napa and Sonoma counties, the grapes are fermented separately in neutral French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks before blending. On the nose, it releases delicate aromas of apple and citrus blossoms, honeysuckle, beeswax, and wet stones. The palate is crisp, focused, and mouthwatering, delivering flavors of Meyer lemon, white peach, and Anjou pear alongside a subtle saline edge and chalky mineral drive that leads to a clean, refreshing finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs exceptionally well with fresh oysters, raw shellfish, prosciutto, crudo, fritto misto, salad, or light seafood pasta.

The 2023 Annia contains fruit from both Sonoma County (66%) and Napa County (34%). Inspired by the wines of northeastern Italy, it’s a blend of 43% Tocai Friulano, 34% Ribolla Gialla and 23% Chardonnay matured for six months in used French oak and stainless steel. The nose is bright and inviting: lemon, oyster shell and saline are accented by touches of bread dough and spice. The light-bodied palate is crisp and refreshing with vibrant, citrusy flavors and a kiss of texture.
