About the Martin Texier Le Preyna
Martin Texier Le Preyna is an energetic, highly expressive, and fresh natural red wine crafted by second-generation vigneron Martin Texier. Sourced from the 'Le Preyna' parcel in Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban—featuring old-vine Cinsault planted in 1955 alongside a small portion of Grenache—the grapes are organically farmed on clay-limestone soils over granite bedrock. The wine undergoes spontaneous whole-cluster fermentation with native yeasts in concrete tanks and ages on fine lees before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal sulfur. In the glass, it delivers charming aromas of fresh red cherries, wild raspberries, dried lavender, and subtle pepper notes, framed by vibrant acidity and silky, supple tannins.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with charcuterie boards, grilled chicken, pork carnitas, ratatouille, mushroom tarts, light pasta dishes, and mild goat cheeses.
