Martin Texier Côtes du Rhône Brézème 'Vigne de la Carrière' is a pure, mineral-driven, and expressive natural red wine crafted by second-generation vigneron Martin Texier. Sourced from organically farmed Syrah vines planted on steep, limestone and clay-marl slopes in the historic Brézème zone, this cuvée showcases low-intervention winemaking at its finest. Vinified using spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a combination of whole-cluster and gentle foot-crushing, the wine is aged in old oak foudres and concrete tanks without fining or filtration. In the glass, it presents alluring aromas of wild blackberries, fresh red raspberries, crushed black pepper, violets, and subtle garrigue herbs. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and vibrant, balancing a juicy core of dark fruit with crunchy acidity, fine-grained tannins, and a long, chalky mineral finish.
