A youthful and exuberant expression of the Langhe, "Sbirolo"—meaning an extroverted or "rascal" personality in local dialect—is designed to showcase the immediate, vibrant charm of the Nebbiolo grape. This wine presents a brilliant ruby red color and opens with a perfumed bouquet of wild raspberries, red cherries, and dried violets, accented by a hint of sweet vanilla. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and refreshing, featuring a succulent core of red fruit supported by fine-grained, approachable tannins and a lively acidity. Unlike the more austere Barolos, Sbirolo is vinified with a short maceration and aged primarily in stainless steel or concrete to preserve its floral purity and fresh, "crunchy" berry character.
