About the Mar Azul Habanero Flavoured Tequila
Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested in Jalisco, Mexico. Slow-cooked, extracted via roller mill, and double-distilled in stainless steel and copper pot stills at Destiladora del Valle de Tequila. This fiery craft expression infuses tequila with natural habanero pepper extracts, creating an intense, spicy profile that marries the tropical, fruity warmth of red habanero chili with crisp cooked agave and bright citrus accents.
Food Pairing: Spicy mango ceviche, carne asada street tacos, grilled shrimp skewers, jalapeño poppers, spicy salsa macha, and dark chocolate desserts.
Tasting Notes : Luminous warm golden amber hue with brilliant clarity and a smooth, medium-bodied mouthfeel.
Nose : Bold fresh habanero pepper, tropical chili fruitiness, sweet cooked agave, crisp citrus zest, and a subtle touch of earthy smoke.
Palate : Fiery and zesty up front with sweet roasted agave, juicy habanero pepper, bright lime peel, light herbal notes, and an intense, lingering chili spice heat.
Finish : Long, spicy, and warming with a sharp, crisp habanero kick that slowly fades into sweet agave and subtle citrus.
Serve : Serve chilled as a fiery shot, over ice, or as an invigorating, spicy base in Spicy Margaritas, Palomas, and Bloody Marias.
