About the Jack Wiebers Macduff 2003
Jack Wiebers Macduff 2003 is an independent single cask Scotch whisky bottled by German bottler Jack Wiebers Whisky World. Distilled at the Macduff distillery in the Highland region in 2003 and bottled in 2018, this 15-year-old single malt showcases the distillery's signature malty, nutty character paired with soft orchard fruit and warm oak spice.
Food Pairing: Roasted pork chops, aged cheddar cheese, dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and apple tart.
Tasting Notes : Golden amber in appearance, offering a smooth, medium-to-full-bodied mouthfeel on the palate.
Nose : Malty barley, toasted nuts, crisp green apple, subtle vanilla, and gentle oak spice.
Palate : Smooth and creamy with notes of sweet cereal, orchard fruits, honey, toasted almonds, and light oak spice.
Finish : Medium-to-long with lingering maltiness, gentle warmth, and subtle wood spice.
Serve : Best served neat in a Glencairn glass at room temperature, or with a few drops of water to open up the aromatics.
