Macbeth Act Five Glentauchers 27 Year Old Lennox Thanes Series

A limited release of 300 bottles, the Lennox edition was distilled at Glentauchers and matured in bourbon oak for 27 years. 

Lennox is described as a young man and we wanted a distillate lead whisky where the good humour of this character could spring out of the glass. The beautiful florality of Glentauchers aligned with its gentle orchard fruit, suggests a character with a lighter touch, whilst the hint of American oak char in the back palate hints at his practical cynicism, which leads this character to support both Macbeth and ultimately Macduff.
