Lyrarakis Thrapsathiri Armi

Crafted by the renowned Lyrarakis Estate in Crete, Greece, 'Armi' Thrapsathiri is a single-vineyard white wine that showcases the revival of an ancient indigenous Cretan grape variety. Sourced exclusively from the high-altitude 'Armi' vineyard located at 500 meters above sea level in the Peza region, where limestone-rich soils and strong wind currents promote slow ripening and vibrant acidity. A portion of the wine undergoes skin contact and fermentation in oak barrels, followed by fine-lees aging to enhance texture and structural complexity without masking its authentic varietal identity.
