About the Muzard Santenay Gravieres Premier Cru 2023
Gravieres presents a deep, lightly pigmented ruby colour in the glass. The nose is seductively aromatic, revealing intense notes of strawberries and crushed raspberries complemented by subtle floral hints of rose and a delicate buttery touch. On the palate, the wine is magnificently smooth and unctuous, featuring a full, velvety mid-palate where the tannins are finely coated by ripe fruit. This 100% Pinot Noir displays a refined complexity and a savory, classic style with a persistent, graceful finish.
This wine's rich texture and nuanced fruit profile make it an ideal companion for roasted poultry such as duck or turkey. It also pairs exceptionally well with savory game birds and slow-cooked casseroles that mirror its smooth, structured character.
