About the Louis Martini Monte Rosso Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Deep ruby in color, this wine leads with aromas of red currants, warmed cherry cobbler, sandal wood, cardamom, and vanilla oak. The rich palate brings notes of black plum, cassis, cola nut and coco dusted truffle. The wine finishes luxuriously with a supple mouthfeel and round tannin structure.
Lavish, rich oak spices crowd the aromas of this big wine and continue through the flavors and finish. Cinnamon, toast, cedar and clove nuances show on top of opulent black figs and dried blueberries. Well-integrated tannins lend a suave, velvety texture.
This has mint, violet, cassis and plum puree aromas and flavors that spill forth, with a sleek, polished feel from start to graphite-tinged finish. Offers judicious toast that lets everything play out nicely.
