Los Danzantes Pechuga Mezcal

an artisanal mezcal made from 100% Espadín agave (Agave angustifolia). It is produced in Oaxaca and undergoes three distillations in copper stills. During the third distillation, seasonal fruits, spices, and a free-range chicken breast are added to the still. The mezcal is then naturally colored with Grana Cochinilla, giving it its distinctive pomegranate-red appearance.

Food Pairing: Duck breast with fruit reduction, turkey mole, roasted pork loin with fruit glaze, and fruity or spiced Mexican desserts.

Tasting Notes: Crystal clear with a rich, silky texture and a full, rounded body that highlights harmonious sweet, savory, and fruity characteristics.

Nose: Highly aromatic with vibrant notes of cooked agave, tropical fruits (guava, apple, quince), subtle spices, and a soft undertone of roasted chicken or turkey meatiness.

Palate: Complex and well-rounded, offering a balance of sweet cooked agave, ripe fruit flavors, warm baking spices, light herbals, and a delicate, savory richness on the mid-palate.

Finish: Long, warm, and velvety with lingering notes of dry fruit, soft spice, mild smoke, and subtle savory earthiness.
