From the Lochlea distillery comes the second of four planned annual releases, Harvest Edition follows Lochlea Sowing Edition First Crop and combines a trio of cask maturations, for a gloriously fruit rich profile. A combination of Port casks, first-fill oloroso sherry casks, and first-fill bourbon barrels have certainly worked their magic here, in yet another stunning release from the young Lowlands-based distillery.
This expression highlights stewed apples, pear drops and marshmallows, followed by strawberries and violet, then finishing with hints of signature Lochlea ceral and freshly cut grass.
