A limited-edition Highland single malt, the Loch Lomond Waypoint Series Falloch 16 Year Old celebrates the natural landmarks surrounding the distillery. Distilled in unique swan-neck stills, this whisky is matured in three types of American oak bourbon casks before a 12-month finish in ex-Cognac barrels. The nose opens with inviting aromas of ripe orchard fruit, honeyed malt, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is perfectly balanced with layers of baked apple, vanilla, light toffee, and a hint of warming spice. The finish is smooth, medium-long, and elegant, leaving lingering notes of sweet malt and soft oak.
