Loch Lomond 12 Year Old is an exceptional, highly unique Single Malt Scotch Whisky that perfectly showcases the versatile distilling capabilities of the historic Loch Lomond Distillery. Crafted under the watchful eye of Master Blender Michael Henry, this expression is distilled using a combination of the distillery's traditional swan-neck pot stills and their signature straight-neck pot stills. The spirit is then matured in three distinct types of American oak casks: first-fill bourbon, refill, and re-charred. This meticulous wood program and diverse distillation style create a deeply complex malt, seamlessly marrying vibrant orchard fruits and sweet vanilla with a very delicate, whisper-thin kiss of peat smoke.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with smoked salmon, roasted duck breast with an orange glaze, mature cheddar cheese, or a warm caramel bread pudding.

TASTING NOTES - A bright amber-straw color with a smooth, medium-bodied, and pleasantly oily mouthfeel.

NOSE - Fresh and highly aromatic, bursting with notes of green apple, ripe pear, and citrus zest, layered with sweet vanilla, golden honey, and a faint hint of wood smoke.

PALATE - Well-rounded and sweet on the tongue, delivering rich flavors of juicy peach, melted brown sugar, and toasted oak, beautifully balanced by warm baking spices and a gentle, clean peaty undertone.

FINISH - Medium to long, clean, and dry, leaving lingering notes of sweet vanilla, soft citrus, and a touch of warming peat.
